The food was very good. The price was completely okay and I was on the same page with the waitress, who is often mentioned here, so she was very nice 😀. We'll be back the next time we visit Vegesack.

Old, somewhat shabby ambience. A renovation wouldn't be bad. Food completely ok, but prices are relatively high. Schnitzel Wiener Art without sauce for 18.50. In some Bremen restaurants you can get a real Viennese veal schnitzel for.

Super tasty, very large portions and very good service. I look forward to the visit every time. Classic fish restaurant that also offers something for the little ones. Very cozy, lovingly decorated and rich in detail.

A friendly middle-class restaurant on the edge of the historical-maritime center of Bremen-Vegesack, with a cozy beer garden, from which you can see warehouses and the Weser. North German white fish dishes are mainly offered, but also meat dishes. The Bremen Knipp, a crispy fried, flat groat sausage, which is served with cucumber, apple sauce, fried egg and fried potatoes on a salad bouquet, is highly recommended here and fits perfectly into the local ambience. The unobtrusive warmth of the employees is also an advantage of this visitable place.

We were there with several people for a family celebration. I was disappointed when I entered the uncovered table. When you say that it is a golden wedding, you can expect at least a white tablecloth, right? The service was underground. I have rarely seen anything so unfriendly. Neither was congratulated, nor was any word spoken too much - just the most necessary and then with a completely tight face. If you work in the catering trade, you shouldn't let the guest understand that he is disturbing! There was nothing to complain about about the food, it was all delicious, hot and well presented. Apart from the fact that two meals instead of the ordered boiled potatoes had fried potatoes on the plate and that there was no excuse for that either. We will not come here again and unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

Food is delicious, but the service ... well. If you come with 2 children, you will not be welcomed very friendly :-(. Too bad !!

My partner was eating there with 5 other people last night, unfortunately the one star is too much but you have to give it otherwise you cannot rate it. The food was partly cold (Labskaus green beans, etc.) the service left a lot to be desired. It's a shame what happened to the gray donkey

Nice cozy place and good food very busy, so sometimes no place and Vegesack has a nice museum harbor. And Schulschiff Deutschland is on the quay and you can visit.

Great restaurant, tasty local food and very nice ambiente!

We visited the place on a Tuesday evening and it was almost full house, mainly locals. Foods (fish and scampi) were fresh, made without any flaws, very delicate, portions just right. We have been warned by the waitress that the prices may vary 1-2 euros as indicated on the menu card according to daily crab prices, but on the final bill it was 4-5 euros more for each dish. Except this issue everything was fine, would visit anytime again.
